3. Product Information

RI6 durian has an oval shape, narrow bottom, thin, yellow-green skin, and an average weight of 2-3kg. The spines of Monthong durian are egg-shaped or rectangular with a thickness of 1.25cm and a stem length of 5-8cm.

RI6 durian has yellow and dry flesh, small seeds, a sweet taste, and aroma, and does not stick to the hand when holding. This durian type is named after its "father", Mr. Sau Ri from Long Ho District, Vinh Long, Vietnam.

Being rarely embarrassed, this durian type is classified into the group of flat seeds with moderately sweet and fatty taste. The percentage of flat seeds is 40% per fruit, with an average weight of 3-5kg per fruit.

Durian is a wonderful energizing fruit with about 147Kcal in 100 grams of flesh, accounting for about 7% of needs for daily activities. This fruit is also cholesterol-free, and rich in fiber and protein. Moreover, Durian is also effective in treating several diseases:

• Strengthening of bones and teeth: calcium, potassium, and B vitamins in durian can maintain healthy teeth and bones.
